A Review on the Effect of Zein in Scaffold for Bone Tissue Engineering

Natural pharmaceutical ingredients have been widely used in recent decades due to their safety and biocompatibility. Zein, a plant-derived natural protein, has several advantages over other synthetic polymers bone tissue engineering (BTE). This study of zein protein focuses more on its application BTE as potential biopolymer material scaffold development. The use shown benefits the production scaffolds. Therefore, attention given studies effect usage development, it offers great ability based porosity, mechanical strength, vitro degradation study, cell proliferation, osteogenic differentiation, which is important for healing damage. this review aims critically analyze current research method fabrication scaffolds BTE. In addition, common methods creating are addressed.
